Welcome to The good life in Bulgaria
Bulgaria is located in the south-eastern part of the Balkan peninsula. Unaffected by ethnic and political instability in difference from the other neighbouring countries, Bulgaria has, since the peaceful revolution in 1990, remained politically stable in its natural beauty.

The Bulgarian landscape is extremely varied with endless beaches along the Black Sea coast, wild mountain areas, fertile green hilly landscape, impressing clefts, rivers and health baths with natural fountains. Bulgaria is also famous for its long relieving summers, colourful orchards and beautiful vine yards.
You will find a variety of interesting places and exciting events - art galleries, museums, folklore festivals, wine tasting. Bulgarian wines, such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Dimyat and Misket, as well as the red Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mavrud and Gamza, deserve much attention because of their high quality. The Bulgarian cuisine is attractive with its exotic inspiration and spicy taste – foodstuffs are fresh at high quality and low prices.
Many people become these years aware of the advantages that Bulgaria offers – not only the well known resorts Sunny Beach, Albena and Golden Sands, but also the rapidly developing resort towns of Obzor, Biala, Balchik, Kavarna. The climate is healthy with more than 300 days of sunshine and 6 months of summer season with temperatures above 23 degrees C from April through September. The favourable weather conditions allow you to experience a unique outdoor lifestyle with lots of restaurants and cafés everywhere. The Bulgarians are warm and friendly people, well known for their hospitality.

Bulgaria today is a society in progress with an economic growth rate among the highest in Europe and at the same time having one of the lowest tax loads. New holiday- and leisure facilities are rapidly developed – among other things several Golf courses, designed by world famous golf players Ian Woosnam and Gary Player, are under construction, as well as ski resorts at a quality to compare with the French, Italian and Austrian ones.
The Bulgarian property market is in strong growth because of an increasing demand from investors abroad. An example shows that British investors buy complete villages in the Balkan Mountains. A British survey from 2003 shows Bulgaria to be among top five countries preferred by investors.
According to an article in “The Financial Times” the potential for growth is considerable. The progress of business as well as politically, economically and social stability are the reasons for the increase on property prices. During the last 3 – 5 years period prices have increased between 10% and 35% per year depending on location. A second important factor is the inexhaustible tourism potential.

We can summarize the facts, important for the continuous progress on the Bulgarian property market:
